Wind

This is an erasure drawing inspired by William Kentridge. I like the peaceful mood created by the flowers blowing in the wind. I also like the subtle color and how it does not distract from the main objects. I wish I had made the handle different and thicker so that it wouldn't stand out so much. And the table is a tad distracting from the main objects.

Dimensions: 12x18

  1. I like how the shading of the container shows you its 3D quality but the trees it makes you want to look at them instead of the subject matter. I also like how the flower shows that there is wind moving it around.

  2. I really appreciate the gradient in this drawing, and I like how you chose the far right flower to be the one with no movement.
